If only I could get my negatives [1700 and more!] back from that damn flood I would have many [many!] more mountains posts, probably the most interesting ones [especially the shots I took on Dolomites :(]. The next posts are an utopian attempt to fill that gap although I'm pretty sure I'll fail considering I have already one foot in the grave and my free time isn't that much anymore...
Why "running to stand still?" It is a U2 song from the LP The Joshua Tree, but it has nothing to do with meaning of the song. It fits perfectly with the way I go to the mountains: running and stopping to take pictures. It has always been that way and always will be.
