[sella prasnig, via rio freddo valley]

The iced ground squeaks and cracks as I run, birds fly overhead against a beautiful mix of cloudy & sunny sky. A couple of fearful young mountain chamoises run as fast as me :) in the thick wood, the howling wind brings some snow and news of the day. It's a new day rising in the Rio Freddo valley...

God damnit, there's no room for the mountains yet and my photography goes from bad to worse.

Running & defying the bad weather and the headwind. Sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn’t.

As I'm writing this post it's raining cats and dogs and the mountains are being covered with a thick blanket of mesmerising snow.

Every time I enter that room on that messed table there is a black egg that winks at me... so a few days ago I picked the overlooked black Olympus XA2 and I went for a run in the coldest place of my region [alas not anymore considering the increasing temperature trend of the last years due to global warming]. The record was -35°C, or so, as long as I can remember. Today just an humble -7°C and less snow than ever.

Up there Picco di mezzodì.
Shots metered at ~200 ASA. Yep, the light leaks are still there even after I've replaced the seals. Well, I love them.
